I have a World Issues class final project to do. My topic is the holocaust and I have to show how it is stil currently a world issue. Any ideas on how it's still a current world issue would be appreciated, I have a few but they're not very strong. Thanks.

Hi Jordan,
I've been thinking about this for a while, and there really are tons of parallels you can draw between the Holocaust and why it is still a current world issue. You could talk about the genocide in Rwanda in the 1990s, and more recently, what is currently happening in Darfur in terms of the genocide there, childhood soldiers, etc. You might also talk about the war in Bosnia that happened in the 1990s because it involved "ethnic cleansing" and a lot of racial conflict. There is so much stuff that you could talk about! Keep me posted on what you decide to do.
